Born in Durban, South Africa, Clint spent his formative years in New Zealand where, between stints in South Africa, he finished high school.
Returning to South Africa to study Graphic Design at ML Sultan Technikon in the early 90s, at the time this was the major centre for visual communication in South Africa.
After studying, Clint teamed up with the Flagship Group in Durban. The agency went on to become one of the largest independent advertising groups in South Africa. During this time Clint also completed a BA in Communication (media) from the University of South Africa.
Clint held his first solo photography exhibition in early 2006 and garnered local press attention for embracing cellphone photography as a fine art form in itself.
January 2007 was a watershed for Clint and he worked in a collaborative space with the team of @LARGE, drawing inspiration from many disciplines. Urban rejeneration and adventures in recycling were on the agenda.
2008 saw Clint once again forging a new path, combining Web Hosting and Design under the FreedomFactory label and working with new web designers and programmers to offer bespoke new media solutions. Clint also worked with Vega The Brand Communications School.
2009 and beyond sees Clint working closely with Vega The Brand Communications School, navigating visual communication, as well as focusing on web design and communication, pushing the media even further. Clint works with a select team of web designers, graphic designers, writers, programmers and fine artists who are producing exciting experiences in media and design. |
